Me and my cousin took the canoe out today and did fairly well this morning.  managed 8 Keepers between the two of us.  Guess whats for dinner tonight?

What else are you having with all those lmbs?  Do you northern folks do corn on the cob, brown beans and corn bread or something else?

Good outing MK! I keep some every now and again myself. We have gotten use to cole slaw, a slice of onion, a pickle wedge, fries(or some other form of tater) and some good ol sweet tea. Baked beans are optional of course  ;D.

Man you did better than me and my buddy did. I couldn't get one largemouth bite today.It was horrible. That little marsh we went to is FULL of bass too.


I ended up with one 24" channel catfish and a bunch of small smallmouth bass.Ended up realizing they were only hitting live crayfish. I hate fishing with live bait,but man,I was dieing to catch some fish before I had to go back to work Tuesday.LOL

Today we will be having hush puppies with the fish and I think the ole lady is making some baked beans?  they seem to be good with everything
