 Literally had to wrestle a smallmouth bass on the ground as it broke my line as soon as i got it to shore. Nothing funnier or Funner than wrestling a 4 pound bass on a muddy bank....needless to say I was cover in mud from hands,knees,butt and shoes. Probably the best day fishing yet! Too bad nobody saw me do it.....It would have landed on America's funniest videos for sure.

That's funny right there. LOL !  Lost a Tourney once because I let my partner measure a smallie . I had a 3.76 in the well and this one was a tad better lengthwise, I think. My partner was setting in a fishing chair on the front deck with the board and fish in his lap. And guess what ?   :D   6lbs won it that day. Oh well.

Those smalljaws are feisty aint they ?

Trust me...that mud was COLD! It barely hit 60 today. I doubt I'm going to be doing that again anytime soon.

When I got home from fishing Saturday I told my wife that my left hand was hurting from setting the hook so much. I called it Full Contact Bass Fishing! I’m going to have her read your post. ;D
