The wife and I ventured to the city park lake today around noon and spent almost 4 hrs there.  Sky was intermittently cloudy, air temp about 73, nice breeze blowing.  I caught 2 small bass, maybe 9"- 10" long.  Caught the first one on a 6"  Black Zoom worm, and the second one on a black Riverside 4" Senko look-alike, both T-rigged.  I believe Riverside baits are made by Yum.  Other people near us on the bank were only catching very small bluegill, so I felt pretty good about my catch    .  They were hitting the bait on a slow retrieve when I would pause it about 12 feet out from the bank, in about 2' of water with mossy bottom. Also tried the buzzbait and a 6" Zoom lizard, but no takers on those.  Of course we get home and all my neighbors have cut and trimmed their yards, so I guess I have to do ours soon....as my wife mentioned to me. 

Ahhhhhhh, those "honey-do's"   I bought us a new JD riding mower and my DW 'insist's' on mowing the grass .

I?m glad somebody got to go. WW if you would come up and help me with my ?renovations? I could get back on the water sooner. 
PS, I just mowed my yard Saturday. First time in 11 years that I have mowed grass!

Congrats on the catching! you did alot better than me. spent $120.00 yesterday between T fees and gas and ended up not getting a bite   I need to cut my front lawn
