Well I've got hard water now since the 4th.  It  could stay that way until March.  I hope not.   :( :'(

It is not quite that bad here.  However, I dumped some ice out in the yard last Friday.  It was still there yesterday evening.

We are supposed to be in the 50s on Thurs and Fri.  Then rain and snow Sat and Sun.  I'm going out on Fri to try for some specs and toothy ones.  It sounds like hard water may be just around the corner here.

We have some hard water here now too. At least on the skinny water ponds.

No major ice out here yet. Accordin to the guessers, we'll be going into the deep-freeze the first of next week for a few days...after it rains this weekend. If this keeps up we'll see some hard water too in the small ponds and such. Regardless, it's cold already to me and can't wait til spring, or at least  those "warming trends" we have during the winter.

Our latest forcast is for 40 mph winds on Sunday with snow and highs in the teens.  It looks like Friday is the only fishing day left in the forseeable future.

Same here.  The ponds are freezing up.  If the weather man is correct this weekend could freeze some big water.

We are under a "winter weather advisory" here. I think we have an inch or so of snow right now with possiblity of four inches total. Our advisory is in effect until 13:00 tomorrow. It is supposed to warm up by the weekend which is good because I will be going bear hunting.

Yesterday I was glued to the Bassmasters Live Blog and the weighin. This morning I look out and voila ! The hard water is gone. It's simply marvelous to be able to see the water. I'll have to get down there and see if anything survived this mini ice age.

We just got another 8+ something inches of snow last night. I'm on my way out the door to shovel out the cars so I can get to work a little later. :(
