decent day at "the swamp"!!

got to fish in a fantastic little pond yesterday. caught 8 decent bass; the biggest 3-12 the smallest just over 2 and actually this was a slow day for this lake. i usually catch several over 4 and a few as big as 7!!! i caght 2 on a chatter bait and the rest on a bagley's baby crappie crankbait

thanks everyone! that place is a secret pond there buzz! i only get to go there once in a while. those fish look great; but, like i said, usually each fish would have had about two more pounds on it. i have caught 7 5+lb bas out of there in one morning(about four hours, and all but two were caught in a hour and a half). certainly cant complain though.

Nice fish!!! Where exactly in Alabama is that place? I live in Mt.Olive and it looks like a nice place! If it is a swamp,I'm sure snakes are all over the place,but there are ways around that!

its in tuscaloosa. it has loads of snakes and alligators(one gator thats about 8ft. long :-[. infact, a ended up killin' a copperhead that day.
