Dock fishing
« on: April 17, 2006, 09:03:18 PM »
Well didn't make it out on  the boat today but decided to go this evening out on the dock. The bass was going crazy chasing minnows out there so I throwed a xrap size 8 (the new one) in chrome and black and caught about 4 and lost one. 1 keeper about 2.5 lbs and the rest dinks 1 of them was a smallie slick but fought good. didn't take camera but wish I did so no pics quit right about dark may try again tomorrow but with boat.

Yeah its time for the fish to be hanging around the docks.  Should be pounding the crankbait and jig behind them and around them.  Good luck and catch some lunkers.

PS  dont forget the senko

GLMan,
LOL! Just what i was gonna say, "don't forget the senko." So, all I can add is, if the water is really calm you might want to try a four inch senko in addition to the five inch senko,
Rob

gotta love the senko.  Just cast it out and let it fall.  Nothing else to do.  Very easy to fish and works great.

Great stuff. That's the way to spend an evening. If they're stirring like that already (still at 58 deg water up here) I'd have to play with some topwater.

If you can get inbetween them or pitch under them you'd catch some bigguns.
HOPE ALL'S WELL IN YOUR LIVEWELL!
