First voyage
« on: December 07, 2009, 09:57:21 AM »
Well took the boat out for the first voyage.  It was cold.  About 35-38 degrees  might have hit 40 lol.

Anyway,  no fish.  not even a nibble.   The new boat is sweet though.  I ran it at 65 mph and still had alot of throttle left.  The lake had a speed limit so I couldnt open her all the way up.

Congrats on the new boat. Thank God for speed limits. LOL!  I'm on the fence here at home about whether to go give it a try or not. I think it's a bit colder than 38 though. I gotta go up to KC to the airport later tonight to pick up the wife so I may just stay in until then. Did you get snow today or yesterday? What lake did you go to?

We got just a little.  More on the way tomorrow.

I went to a private lake.  Practiced some casting and froze. LOL

That is awesome, feezing cold or not. Right now, 38 degrees is cold. Our high today in Seattle is going to be 31 degrees. This is cold for Seattle!
