Fish out of water
« on: July 06, 2010, 09:28:23 AM »
Feeling lost somewhat this week. The truck is in the body shop getting my boo boos fixed and I can't get the boat out.  It is bad timing for sure as this week and next may be it for me for a while.  I may just be forced to experiment down at the pond for a while.

I feel your pain, Get, I really do. July 3rd was 1 yr. w/o a boat...well, a motor. But at least you have a pond you can tinker around in if you can't find anyone to take you out.

Btw, Caught anymore on your frog bait?

Sorry to hear that. However, fishing from the shore is better than not fishing at all. Take that from someone like me who is permanently shorebound.  :)

I'm in that same boat right now.  I got my HDS8 installed yesterday only to find that my ram won't hold it the way I want so I had to order one from AZ.  It won't be here until next Thursday.  So it will be at least 6 days before I can even try it out.

Well , I got the truck back last night and wouldn't ya know it,  my back went out big time.  I have an epidural injection scheduled for this Tuesday morning and let me tell ya. It can't get here quick enough. Not really wantin to sound like a whiner. I can still survive but it sho don't feel good.
I guess I will ride my tractor and get the yard work done this weekend. I have made plans to go to a different lake Tuesday after my Dr. appointment.
