any of you fish guru's been lately? I'm starting to itch all over myself(uh, some of that could be dry skin due to the cold air we soufers have had to endure lately). Gotta get Ian to patch up a rod or two soon as to have a complete set of tools to work with before I go though.

Might even get the little two-man ready soon for some crappie fishing  ;D

Not yet but I did play with some of my toys ;D I got my tacklebag out and re-organized it...sort of ::) I put Fireline on my new Penn Battle spinning reel.  Odd thing about that reel though. It says it will hold 170 yards of 20# braid and the Fireline was a 125 yard spool. Barely got it all on there and it is 20# test.

It almost has the snow melted and is supposed to be in the mid to upper 30s by Wed.  I am planning a trip that day probably for specs on S. Table Rock.

We still have ice on our puddles and more snow headed our way by the weekend. Had to scrape a ½” of the white stuff off the truck before going to work yesterday.
Saw a weather report this weekend that said we are running about 15* colder than normal for this time of year. I am ready for a break!

I haven't been in ................... forever. We still got knee deep snow everywhere ya look. Temps haven't broke 25 for about a week. Thursday I'm in the barn casting some jigs. I may slip over to KC Fri. for a boat show.I did get my drive opened up so I can get the  big sled out. Next week  I may try to go to the Power plant lake. We'll see, Feb. tends to be fairly crummy weather here.

I drove by one of my local lakes on the way to do our taxes with the wife. Covered in Ice and snow.

My wife asked me "why the long face?" my reply was "Look at the lake."

She Understood...I wanted to cry....LOL
