Great day on the water yesterday

BassDan and I hit the river yesterday to try our luck. We had one heck of a day out there by landing 25 bass, 2 crappie and one gar. Most of the bass were in the one to two pound range but I did manage to land one good keeper.

awsome fishing Crossbow! 25 :o fish is alot of bass and that is a nice fish ur holding. what did yall catch them on?

Soft plastics was the key but the two crappie came off spinner baits. Sorry I can't post the plastic's we used because I fish in tournaments there and don't want any of my guys to know what I used in case they visit this board. I have a tournament coming up next Sunday and I think I have a good shot at winning it if the fish will hold in this spot. Remember last week on my birthday I landed this Hawg in the same place.

Folks up here are always talking about length instead of weight. I grew up down south and usually told weight too. Did you happen to measure them?

No sir no measurement on them two. By the time I weigh them on two or three scales then get the camera out for the picture its time to get them back in the water before damage is done. I do have a golden ruler mounted on the boat for tournament fishing so I could start running them over it real quick to add from now on. Thanks for asking.
