Tonight Rachel and I drove over to Perry and fished from the bank for about an hour. We brought back 7 crappies. We each caught one nice bass apiece. Tomorrow my boat will be ready to be picked up at the marina.  I'm gonna fish from the bank in the morning while I wait for the marina to open, then I will pick up the boat and fish for another couple hours.
     I have a yard to mow, a house to finish painting, a garden to plant, a ditch to dig, and on and on and on. I gotta go fish tomorrow as it's supposed to come up a good rain on Thursday.

 

If you need more meat let me know.  Yesterday we had 3 cows and 2 calves decide to not get caught.  The broke through the fence crossed Crane Creek and took off.  The cowboys got them back across the creek and headed toward the corral.  They then turned and went right back through the fence and up a heavily wooded draw to parts unknown.

If I can find them, I'll shoot one and we can have a big old meat eatin' party along with Steve's specs.  BTW: Anybody want to buy some cows and calves?
