I hope you get your arm broke. LOL !  I thought I was gonna go yesterday but I had to tend to the Misses. She came down sick and today I think I am getting it. I know you'll have a good time and report back for those of us who are landlocked.

I hope you have a good trip buzz.  I had wanted to go today but we had 35 mph winds which plays heck with vertical jigging so I hung gates and built fence instead.

I think I'm going to go down below Oliver dam tomorrow morning. I got my boat out of the shop 2 weeks ago and haven't run it since then so I'm itching to get out and see if I can get something to pull on my line.

Well that’s a fine how do you do! The rest of us are either  buried in ice or snow, or when it does warm up the wind is blowing so hard that we have trouble keeping shingles on the roof and your going fishing?  That’s a fine la-de-da! ::)

Good luck Buzz. Times like these make me think I should have stayed a little more south. BUT I’m really thankful that I didn’t take that job offer I had in Erie Pa. a few years back! ;D

Post some pic’s!

We went, we saw, we came home! hehe.

Actually we caught a few each and that was about it. No size to any of them though. We missed a few too. We saw several squirrels, two other bassboats - all day, several ducks, an owl, 3 barges, many buzzards flying overhead, and a doe. The doe wouldn't spook, she walked right up to the waters edge three boat lengths from us while we were making regular boat noises(TM operation and casting) and talking fairly loud, ... strange thing indeed.

Again!, Thanks Willie!(& Rick)! I enjoyed my day on the water.

P.S.- None of the fish we caught came on a buzzbait btw  ;D ...crankbait and worms/lizards is all we could get them to bite on.

Good report Buzz. Glad somebody got to get out.  A short while back we were chunking along the bank and we came up on a doe who started moving along the shoreline in front of us. After a bit she got nervous and tried to leave but by then she was under a small bluff. She tried several times to go up but no luck. We swung the boat wide and passed and turned around and came back the other direction. That was enough to get her to follow the shoreline the other direction until she found a place she could get back into the brush away from shore. It was interesting.
