It's now or never
« on: March 18, 2010, 05:20:26 AM »
Right now it is 31° and foggy.  It is supposed to top out at 60° today.  Tomorrow it is going to rain and blow.  Sat. it is going to blow and snow.  Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed it is supposed to be too windy to be on the water.  So I am saddling the old tub and riding her around the lake today and see if I can scare up anything.

;D ;D

Pictures of what water turkeys?  It was a nice day with a light (too light) breeze.  It got up to 58° but the water was 44°.  I managed 5 lmb before I put out the fire and called the dogs.

3 came on jerks and 2 on tubes.  This time last year if you only caught 50 with a couple of 4s on jerks you thought you had been robbed.  I guess that is why they call it fishing instead of catching.
