It's that time of the year.
« on: December 03, 2011, 10:41:30 AM »
My fishing days are over for this season. Getting too cold and Bass season is quickly approaching. guess this means I'm done till April for Bass. C&R doesn't open up here till late April. I finally today put away the reels back in the box and everything went back to their places on the shelves.

Tis' a sad day here in Michigan.  :'(

Sorry Grim.

My winter time is just beginning.  I'm mostly done with bass but the eaters are moving to the ledges.  Wed. in the Little Sac arm of Stockton they were found at 32' while Thursday in the Big Sac arm 21'.   I'll snatch them till they quit or the water goes hard.

WOW ! Grimlin . I couldn't take it. Gotta fish. We'll get some hard water here before too much longer but I'm hoping to be in the volunteer state by then.

Yeah I'm trying to find somebody around here that ice fish or at least have experience in it as well. I would love to try once or twice. Plus I have no experience in ice fishing. I'll be going for the same reason Jig man is. For the crappies and perch.

I got rid of my ice fishing equipment on account of I don't think I'll get to use it in TN. I might be wrong. The most important thing about winter fishing is the safety factor. If you manage that well the rest will fall in place.
