Tonight I slipped over to the lake to start checking out some channel bends for our next tourney. This lake is only 12 miles from my home and I SUCK on this lake. The winning strings usually have a minimum of 17 lbs. and up. If I can catch 6 or 8 lbs I'm happy.
So I head over there to get a little more familiar . The stump I bumped on Sunday finally got around to showing the effects. It appears to have bent my upper shaft on my MG. I've never done that before . My dad always said poor people got poor ways. I now have my MG suffering from some serious surgery while I wait for some parts to arrive. The last time I operated on a Motorguide was 20 yrs ago. They aint changed much. I did however snap a couple digital pics just in case my memory don't serve me as good as it did 20 yrs ago.

You guys ought to take a look at the website for Marine Parts Plus and click on the trolling motor link and check some of their prices. It seems to me that they're fairly reasonable.
http://www.marinepartsplus.com/ I guess now I have some where to spend the few coins I won on Sunday.
