ABA Nevada Team tournament was held Saturday out of Cottonwoood.
Prefish on Friday we saw 3-4 lb. bass in most of the coves we looked in. Didn't even throw a bait at most of them, we just wanted to see where they were. All were shallow around brush and seemed to be prespawn with a few nests here and there being guarded by one or both fish. Water temp was around 59 degrees.
Saturday was a different story. Wind changed, the fish went into hiding and we didn't see hardly any of the females we had found Friday. So time to change plans and we went laydown and tree fishing. Jigs and brush hogs were the lures of choice. We managed to scratch out a 13.94 lb. limit for 4th place, but it took most of the day to do it.
