So who has
« on: December 14, 2009, 03:27:57 PM »
Ice on the lakes?  Some of the ones around here had real thin ice on them.  After today it should be gone but I'm ready for spring.

Any of you guys fishing this weekend?

Stockton had ice in the coves on Friday.

I was going today but the wind changed my mind (gusts to 30 mph).  The front coming in was also going to drop temps all day long.  The kind of fishing I am doing right now requires little wind because boat placement is all about what it is.

If I was out there on the lake, I'd some in the cooler(ice), does that count?

I wish i was going!

Fishing is done for me now until March. I did have some very good fishing on the Ohio River throughout November thanks to the warm weather. Might have been my best month. I guess it's time to clean up the tackle and work on the boat.

Grandson reports a thin sheet of ice on his pond.
I did some Christmas shopping for myself yesterday. Placed a order with G-man.
I wonder what color jigs my wife might want? ::)

My pond has been frozen for 2weeks now. I think I'll drag a large crooked log out on the ice. The lakes are frozen too except maybe way out in the middle.

Ice here.  Looks like next week we will have lows in the teens and highs in the 30's.
