Hope everyone is doing well. Haven't been here for awhile. Been busy with my daughters sports. Didn't get to go fishing much last year but going to make up for it this year!  Pondhopper is going to have to refresh my memory on how to fish. Hope to be able to post some pics this year. A true story;
I’m tall and backlasher is well……he ain’t!
One summer day a few years back I was working our summer shutdown and backlasher was on vacation. I really didn’t want to work one Monday so I called him and we met at the lake at sunup. As we launched the boat I noticed the trailer of one of the maintenance guys from third shift. As we made our way down the bank I saw the boat of this guy come around the bend. He was fishing with another maintenance guy, also from our plant. As they rounded the bend they headed across the lake. I decided I had best say something to them as I had called in sick for the day and didn’t want them saying anything at work about seeing me. As I motored up to them they started laughing. I had to ask…..and they told me. As they rounded the corner they saw what they took to be some old man and his GRANDSON so they were moving out of the way. From that point on backlasher has been known around work as my Bearded Grandson!
