weird day on the water
« on: May 13, 2006, 08:12:14 PM »
Went fishing today.  I caught about 8-10 fish only 2 under 1.5 lbs biggest about 4-4.5.  I caught the first one right off the bat on a jig. then couldnt get another nibble.  Threw the crank and jig some more, around brush and rock. Nothing.  The wind came up and I decided to start fishing the weeds and bam.  Its was on.  I was throwing a chart/white with chart/white blades spinnerbait.  The bass were holding next to or into the weeds.  They would come out and hammer the bait. I'll post a pic tomorrow when i get back from fishing.

Wind is our best friend.  I actually look forward to fishing in the wind and all the backlashes it has to offer us.  Makes it hard to come off the water when they're biting like that. ;)
HOPE ALL'S WELL IN YOUR LIVEWELL!
