Well it is cooling down a bit

Today is supposed to be over 20° cooler than it has been.  I'm all caught up on my fencing projects and the new neighbor said he'd pull my boat to the water so we are leaving at 5 to get a bit of spinnerbait and buzzbait time before the sun gets high.

It really was nice to not sweat.  It was 67° when we launched and 84° when we loaded.  We struggled to catch a dozen and cranks were best.  However, we only had 2 keepers.

I'm fig-urin it's gona take a few days before our waters start to show any signs of cooling. That being said the weather guessers have said we should have a significant rain event tomorrow which should help the cooling.
Last Saturday I got chased off by the lightning; maybe this Saturday I can get in a few hours before it hits. ;D
