Bass Tech this morning (2/11)
« on: February 11, 2006, 11:49:37 AM »
Did you guys catch Bass Tech this morning on Bass Saturday ?  They had the Triton boat that some lucky dog (spectator/visitor) will win if they register at the Bass booth in Florida.  A boat wrap was done on the boat, and it was pretty sharp, but what caught my attention was the trailer they did.  It was a custom built one with storage boxes built along both sides of the frame of the trailer.  Lockable doors on all the compartments.  Then a custom decal "wrap" was done on the trailer.  Someone is gonna go home very happy when they win that rig!

For sure!!  That was awesome.

I just wondered with the trailer being so wide up front if it would hinder  backing the trailer when you have to cut sharply.   Ive got a big gash in the back panel of my Expedition from jack knifing a little trailer that was also wide up front and it was hitting my truck before I knew it.

That same thought crossed my mind too.  Seems they could use a longer trailer tongue, or possibly take some of the squareness off the front corners of the storage box on the trailer.

I have a 5x10 trailer that I take with me when I go deer hunting and I jackknifed it into the rear side of my old Suburban once. It was dark, the windows were dirty from the bad weather and I was in a hurry. Not a good combination when backing a trailer :-\
