Do you use special boat products or automotive items?

I was just wondering, as I hear people talk about the Bass Boat Saver items that BPS carries for the glass rigs.  My boat is a tin rig, but on the painted areas I use Meguiar's auto wax, which holds-up pretty good.

I still need to do that to mine. My paint is old and dingy now. Think I just use what I have for the autos.

I used to use auto wax on my boat but I heard it was bad for the glass boats so I switched to the teflon wax from walmart in sporting goods section for boats.
Heard the auto wax soaks into the fiberglass and have to have repairs done it can get more expensive to do it. I believe I heard it on one of the fishing shows like bass  tech or somewhere else not sure memory loss.  ::2

I finally got it done did it today after I got home from working 72 hours straight and got some rest then finished it. All I have left now is my truck boy do I dread it.
