Don't forget to...

...register your boat by the end of April in Kentucky. I always try to register mine early so I don't have to rush at the last minute to get my stickers. ;)

2nd-3rd week is the best time to go to the license office here.  Otherwise your standing in line for quite awhile.  Need to check mine too.

Dang, it sure went quick since last year   :o .  I wonder if the State will give me a rebate on last year's fee, considering I only had my rig in the water one time last year (May) after putting the new registartion sticker on, lol.

Speaking of court houses, registrations, and such, have I told you guys the story of selling the bathtub boat? NO?
Well?? In Kentucky you do not have to register your trailer. You just sign the title on the boat and the trailer goes with it. UNLESS you are selling the trailer out of state; then you have to have the title that you don?t have to have. I had the title that I received when I bought it in Indiana, but it is no good when I tried to use it when selling it to a guy in Indiana!??

PS. The licenses in Kentucky are NOT Teal Green; but did you look?

I have a seperate registration for my boat trailer. I haven't quite figured out why, as I'm the only one I know (so far) that has that.  One idea that I tend to lean towoards is that I bought the boat in Nashville (new from BPS) and then brought it to Ky.  Our courthouse was really confused when I went to register it for the first time, and having different vin#'s for the boat & trailers the lady at the license office registered the boat seperately and the trailer seperately.  I receive seperate notices for the boat and trailer   :scratch
