How to fund your first boat?
« on: June 04, 2007, 12:09:03 AM »
'm curious how you guys fund (or funded) your first boat? Did you get a simple john boat with a handle motor or save for a nice steerable bass boat? I know about the possibility of loans, saving money, etc. I'm curious how long it took and what you did to expidite your purchase.

My dad always fished so I borrowed his :)

My first one to buy myself I was older and took out a loan from one of my friends.

I borrowed the little bit it cost for my first boat. My current boat I paid for with part of my tax refund.  :)
