I guess I'm ready...
« on: May 06, 2006, 10:15:56 PM »
...for Monday   :) .  Spent the early part of the day messing with the boat doing last minute checkups on the boat and trailer.  Broke out a phillips screwdriver and commenced to checking to see if any screws needed tightening, and only required a slight turn on a screw on a cleat.  Then I commenced wiping everything down and then waxed the boat, trailer, and the rims.  My friends say I'm O.C. (Obsessive Complusive) about doing the trailer, but I figure a portion of it does get submerged in water.  Batts are charged also.  Put the cover on, put away all my cleaning gear, then we went to city park to fish from the bank.

We only stayed about 1.5 hrs due to all the people there.  I like my fishing to be quiet and calm, but it wasn't happening today.  Normally it's fairly calm there, however, there were a lot of small children running up and down the bank, boom boxes playing, and a huge group of motorcycles came roaring through.  We left.  Went back around 6 pm and it was the way we like it   :) .  I got zero bites, but my wife did catch one bluegill and about a 2lb snapping turtle.  Some guy said he eats them so he took it home.  Tomorrow I mow the lawn.  Monday....it's off to Lake Barkley   ;D

WW you never have to much care for boat and trailer, that is what makes it sell for more money.

If a boat is cared for and the trailer is cared for buyers notice those things.

I just sold my boat and the buyer told me that he new the boat and trailer have been cared for.

My large engine prop did not even have the paint wore off yet, these are the things that tell buyers how well boat and trailer were care for, also you have a investment of time and money in your boat.

George

You can never give them enough care.
