11/05/05--SSenko Bass
« on: November 05, 2006, 05:00:04 PM »
Went to my boss's two ponds today.  Partly cloudy, low 30s last night, sunny, wind--5-10 mph, and clear water.

Started out at the smaller pond, fishing from the bank.  Caught a few dinks and then a 6 lber and a 1 lber.  There was another Bass trying to snatch the SSenko away as I brought her to the bank.

Moved on to the bigger pond and caught a 3 lber before putting in the boat.  Caught several dinks and missed several bites.  Ended up with a 2 lber.

 6 lber--24"

 Gut shot

 Close up

  Skinny 3 lber

  3 lber again

 2 lber

 1 lber

Jack:  My boss has committed to improving his two ponds.  I helped electro-shock them with a professional earlier this year.  He then added forage fish based on the results of the shocking and he's added two, automatic feeders at each pond.  The panfish go crazy when the feeders go off. ;D.
