8/30/07--Two Jackall Aragon cr/bait Bass

Took the boat out in the larger pond at about 11 AM;  slight wind, sunny, partly cloudy, and air temps in the low 90s/water-88 F.  Third or fourth cast in the deep(12') end brought a 4 lber in after it sucked a  Jackall Aragon cr/bait into its mouth.  Fished there for about an hour but no more joy so I drove over to the walk-around pond.  Caught a 1 lber on the shallow version of the same cr/bait.  Started raining at 2:30 PM so I headed home.


 4 lbs, 6 ozs--24"

Nice bass...but tell us more about the rain, that is something we have not had enough of around here lately. Not far down the road from me the people there are on restricted water use. If they get caught watering the lawn for example it is a $250 fine. :o

Yes, we've finally gotten a little rain here in the last few days ;D.  Still not enough to fill the 12+" deficit but better than we have had.

Went today and after a hard rain last night, the pond looked like butterscotch pudding.  Caught two more on the Aragon cr/bait and that was in that muddy water:
