Went to the swamp pond today. Started at about 11 AM with partially cloudy skies, lots of sun(low 90s), windy-off/on, and water temps at 85 degrees throughout the 3.5 hours I fished. Got a 4 lber right off and then followed two 3s, another 4, and another 3 with a couple of dinks and keepers(no pics) thrown in.
All of them were caught in 2-4' of stained water. I watched the second 4 lber suck the Swimming Senko in as she moved right in front of the boat. Two of the Bass took me into some of those pads you see in the background. All were caught on a weightless, #222 Swimming Senko rigged on a 4/0 GY Sugoi hook.
