Thanks y'all .... Actually Birthday was last Thursday, but I been catching good fish for the past couple of weeks ... my good fortune is a combination of CB's Hawg Sauce and a little more time on the water ... hooked a Hawg today on a Spinnerbait that didn't want to have his photo taken ... I hate losing a fish after a good hook up and a good fight ... ain't but one person to blame and that's myself ... 

nice fish and I would consider a five a lunker any day of the week.

 I must admit that I would too ... so far a 5 lber is my personal best (I've caught 2 since 3/14 ) and the lake I fish seems to top out at 5 pounds, though how would I know since I've never caught anything bigger ... in theory there's gotta be a 10+ lber waiting for me there ... I don't get my scale out unless the fish needs to be 'folded' to fit in the live well and to me anything in the 2 lb range is a fun fish to catch ...

Caught this one on a Baby Brush Hawg dipped in clear CB's Hawg Sauce ... For some reason the fish have a lot more fight in them this year ... Sorry about the picture quality ...

I'd say they had a taste for the Sauce today ....  We were a little late on the water but Bettie caught this one on her second cast ... all total she landed 3 and hooked 2 Bigguns ... One of the Bigguns that got away was funny ... I took her to different spot and gave her a spinner bait w/ half a zoom fluke as a trailer ... I sprayed it w/ Hawg Sauce before I handed her the rod ... She threw it out and said, "Do fish really bite something like this,  " At that moment a Hawg leaped clear out of the water w/ her Spinnerbait in his mouth  ... not sure how it got away, unless the hook wasn't sharp enough cause she played it like a pro ...
