I'm fairly new to the board and thought this would be a good place to ask. What do you guys think this one weighs? Didn't have any scales to check with. I have a good idea(around 7) but wanted the boards opinion. No matter what though it was fun to catch and comes with a pretty good fish story.

Howdy Marlowe.

Going from the picture which is extremely hard. Looking at the fish and your size. I'd say 5.5-6lbs. Whatever it does weigh she sure is a beaut! Congrats.

Like Gman said its very hard to tell from pictures. Pictures usually dont do it justice.

6-1/2-7 lbs would be my guess also just looking at the length.

I'm suprised that you were even able to fish after eating her brother. I noticed you looked alittle heavier in the pic. My guess would be like yours 6 to 7 pounds on the fish on you I's say 150 to 170 espicially since you had just eat her brother.

After looking around and talking to a few people I was able to find it. It's called a dominator made by reaction innovations.

Whatever,..it's an excellent fish! Congrats!!

BTW,..next time if you can get the length, we can usually tell you the weight with some certainty,..usually within half a pound for sure! Even if all you do is note how long it is next to your fishing rod,..you can then get out the tape measure at home and get an accurate length!
