Thanks for the welcome words. I was glad to find your site off Google, I'm sure it'll be a source of new fishing skills and hopefully new friendships.
My name is Jerry O'Connor, recently retired from civil service, proud owner of a pair of brand new knees (the kind that set off alarms every time I pass through the airport). I'm getting around on them pretty well now and am really looking forward to this year's fishing and boating experiences in and around Washington State's Puget Sound and many inland lakes.
I've been happily married for 39 years, three great kids and two fantastic grandkids (ages 2 and 7 months). Can't wait for them to be old enough to hold a fishing pole in their little hands. I've been boating/fishing for almost 45 years, biggest boat I've owned was a 21' Sea Ray in Michigan. I presently own a 19' Bayliner that we bought new in 1995 and a new 12' Port-A-Bote that we bought two years ago. The bigger boat is usually moored at a nearby lake for the summer while the smaller one is hopefully going to fish at least a dozen different lakes this year, all across the state. I can't wait to find out what retirement is like without recuperating from knee replacement surgery.
I'm looking forward to enjoying the forums and getting to swap fish stories with you all.....
Tight Lines, Jerry "O"
