There is another club having a tournament at the same time we are they will have about 15 to 17 boats just to give everyone a heads up. you may want to get there early.

Will they be launching at the other landing?   I didn't think they would schedule 2 tournaments out of the same landing.

If they are launching out of Raleigh Ryan then they have issued 3 permits for that one landing on the same day cause I have one in hand for the club that we were trying to get started.

Thats pretty goofy of them.  I can understand two maybe on the same day as long as the predicted number of boats doesn't take up over 70% of the parking.

I agree. Of course mine won't be used but they don't know that. If we would have fished ours then it sure would have been crowded.

Well that sucks.  Try to do everything legit and then get screwed at the ramp.   Between that and the weather I might just have to stay in the truck until about 12 or so :)

I'll see if he's available! If we are overcrowded then I will call. If we had a 50 boat turn out then it would definately be a problem. I don't think we have to worry about that yet.

I posted earlier that I heard it took 17 1/2 lbs to win Sat. 3/1. Actually it took 21.82lbs to win. Second was 11.17 lbs.

Have you found out anything about yalls boat injuries yet. Hopefully the t-motor was just a battery/connection problem and something minor with the big-gun!

Just to let everyone know, my problem is apparently fixed. My cranking battery was way undersized for my motor. I picked up another battery today and installed it in the boat and it is like a different motor. The old battery only had 400 cold cranking amps and it needs at least 800 cca. My new one has 875 cca and it makes a tremendous difference.

Hmm, that's weird. It seems they'd have a big enough battery in it!, it being new. I guess that couldn't be too good in the customer relations department, I mean, even if you upgraded HP, they ought to have known better and adjusted for that.

Glad you got it figured out.

Leave us a few for Vi-anna here! ;D

Tried the new battery out today on the water and it has fixed the problem. I guess they thought a cranking battery is cranking battery.

I plan on going to gainesville tuesday and I'll give a report when I get back.
