Cool picture Shannon.  I see them quite often down in Safford, Al and something down below Oliver dam.   I am surprised they arent in Oliver Lake or Holt yet.

He was in the slough above Longs Landing. I have seen several down there also over the years but they usually smaller. That one is the biggest that I hve seen. He was a probably about 7 feet. That is not real big but nice for down there.

Nice shot Shannon! It even smiled for ya!

The last one I saw down there was near the entrance to Lubbub Creek several years ago.

I don't know if everyone heard but along with the alligator Saturday, we (me and Ellis) also had a snake get in the boat with us. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of it. So we had an eventful day.

It happened so fast I couldn't. It sure scared Ellis cause it was back there with him. When I turned around the snake was going across his seat out of the boat. The snake was about 4 feet long. It got everyones attention that was involved. I'm just glad that Ellis didn't have gun. ;D

Get this, I was catching several 12 to 14 inch fish on an 8 inch Luck E Strike swimbait during practice but, I could never get a big bite on them. You'd think a fish that size would run from a bait that big.

Shannon, are you sure you're not related to Steve Irwin? :D

i caught one on a lake fork 5" swim bait but he wouldnt keep. i only got one more bite on it and i missed it. i tried the 5 1/2" luck e strike the week before the tourn. and got one monsteroutly hard bite, felt the fish, then nothing; and no bites after that.
