Birthday present
« on: September 01, 2010, 10:37:47 PM »
Talk about a good wife.....My birthday present from my wife was an 8 hour Giuded Trip from Eliete Sieres Pro Russ Lane on Lay Lake next spring. This is the description from Lane's website:"I offer an 8hr Specific Techniques Course- This is not a guide trip. This is on the water training for a specific technique that the client wants to learn more about." The problem is I don't know if I can wait until next spring. I guess I'm gonna have to step it up from the normal card and flowers for her birthday.

Two questions;
Can you say D I A M O N D S? ;D
What “specific technique” training are you going for?

In my case I would opt for jig fishing only because I have caught more fish with this bait than any other. Sad part about that statement is I have only been using jigs the last couple of years. Took me a while to wake up! ::)

She's been hinting around about this ring at our brother-n-laws jewlery store. So I'm guessing she putting the fire to my tail to buy it for her B'day. She has a two sisters(taken) and the wierd thing is nobody in their family has ever fished, hunted or done anything outdoors besides walked or rode a bike so her family thinks I'm Daniel Boone.  Dewayne I was wondering about that and it came up last night jokingly and she said he is tall, dark and handsome.  ;D

Yep, that is a great present she gave you. Too bad the B-I-L owns the store. If you try to get a deal on a ring he'll snitch :o :D So hopefully you have time to save up before her birthday rolls around.

Carter, I talked to him the other night and he said he'd take care of it. I bought her engagment ring there in Sept. and he kept it a secret until January so I think I'm cool with him keeping a secret.

Cool, there is a jewelry store here in town I have done some business with. They take care of me too. Probably a good thing just in case I decide to commit suicide a third time ;D

The actual good thing is that my wife's sister works there and her husbands dad owns the store. I get a small discount but my sister-n-law lets me know what my wife really likes. It's like I know what she wants without asking.

Be careful of what you do or don't do.  My cousin took his squeez to Niagra Falls for an outing.  THAT IS ALL HE DID.  Red told him he should have purposed.

Well, we got an email from him.  Within a week of the trip and no proposal.  She dumped him.  Isn't that just like a woman. ::)

Great B-day present!

::2 @ you guys

I can't get a boat till i get my wife a new house first......That was the deal. It's better this way.....that way i can't really screw anything up after my wife gets what she wants first.

Getting the house first can be a good thing. This way you can find one with a big garage or outbuilding with electric ;)
