While it is true that the board has discussed the Demopolis tournament, there is no truth to the rumor that the board is planning to postpone the tournament.  The discussions have focused on the weather, and as almost always, Wednesday is too early to make decisions about weather.  If there is a significant change in the current forecast, the need MIGHT arise for a postponement.  However, at this time, you should still be planning on fishing.  Watch the website and then after Friday noon check the hotline for further developments.

why would it be postponed is the weather supposed to get bad or something

Having heard the rumor I can tell ya that it wasnt passed that the tournament was postponed. All I heard was that there was a tropical storm coming and if it did come, the board would have to look at it. I haven't heard anything was postponed.

Yeah, I think everyone is watching the same thing and some conversations are just being taken too seriously. Everybody wants to fish and are talking amongst' themselves just what-ifin'. All us anglers only have each other to talk to. Our wives certainly don't listen to us.
