Don't forget, your current fishing license expire the last day of this month.

Why do these states do that? I always carry two licenses; Indiana which expires at the end of March, and Kentucky which expires at the end of February.
Why don’t they all expire December 31st.?

They should all expire a year after they are issued.  Its crazy to make them all expire on a certain date.

I agree. Let them all expire at same time.

A friend's parents bought him a lifetime for a birthday present - thought that was real neat.

For those of you that hunt, remember that the 1st is also L-day.

They are on sale now - the bureaucrats that make these decisions took enough heat last year that they relented and started sales about 10 days in advance.

Just another reminder for those that haven't gotten them yet.

We don't have the lifetime license here in KY. They feel they would not get as much money as the years go by. But we do have a Sportsman's license. It covers pretty much everything hunting and fishing. So I buy that.

A game warden told me a couple of weeks ago that they may not get the revenue if a lifetime liscense is sold from previous years but they still get money from the feds for a lifetime liscense. They are given grant money for each liscense sold year and they count all the lifetime liscense sold from the previous years.
