Lake Clean Up
« on: August 22, 2010, 12:33:30 PM »
Hey guys. I'm trying to see just how many of you would like to participate in next years Lake Clean up on Lake Tuscaloosa. We would be doing  it as a club function. I just feel like we, as an organization, should be part of this. We all fish the lake and it would be great to give back to the lake. Just reply with your interest or non interest. Thanks everyone.

I think that would be huge for the club to take part in somehting like that. I think I read in one of the Bass Club Digest magazines that a club had a tournament where instead of weighing in fish they weighed in the trash they picked up.

Yes it would Baseball.. And as an ABF,TBF and FLW affiliated club we should always strive to be an example to other sportsmen. We may be a small club but we can make a HUGE difference. Maybe T-Rig can arrange for the Scouts to ride along aswell.

Several of the members have been doing it.  Every year we post something on this site announcing it.

Not really.  In the past I have just posted that it was happening (when I knew about it).  Not just for the lake but for the river also.

I think its a great idea to do it though.
