Lock 8 report
« on: May 08, 2008, 08:26:34 AM »
Hey guys, I put in at Lock 8 yesterday and fished up-river, it was pretty tough for me. That was the first time I've been up there in over a year. I guess the low water last year let everything grow up. Anyway, I boated 12 fish with only a 7 or 8 pound limit. I figured I would murder them with the south wind and low pressure but I was wrong. Although, them sucking the bottom out of the river could've played a big role in the lock jaw. Seems like now everytime they mention rain the COE gets ready for a catostrophic flood. But, the conditions will be so much different Saturday after this rain that none of this will really matter. When someone figures out Bass, weather patterns, and water levels I hope they write a book on it.  ;D

Hey JackJ, do you mind bringing the TBF cards Saturday if you have them?

Much the same for our practice on Sunday - lots of fish, not much weight.  I also think the weather will make for different patterns this Saturday - it will be interesting to see how much rain we get today.

I don't have a clue either Jackie. I am off tomorrow so I might venture down there and see what I can find.
