A new club, Dixie Bass Club was having a tournament down there sat. I was putting in late (3 pm) while their weigh-in was in progress. The two guys I saw put their bag back in didn't seem to have but a few fish. One of the two I spoke to and he said they caught 2 right off the bat and thought they might have a good day...long story short...that was it! 2 fish all day long. I think the other guy had 3 fish maybe.... Anyway, Anyone know their winning weights?

I just talked with a buddy of mine that fished that tournament and I think he said 10.75 won the tournament and they also had big fish at 5 1/2 lbs. My buddy was second with 8 lbs. He said it was a very tough day fishing. They caught 8 fish and 5 of those were keepers. All their fish were caught early.

Must of just missed you, we took out at 2:30 and hung around and watch a bit of their weigh in - yes the winners killed that big fish, shame - said they did everything they could to keep it alive - the 4 others in their bag were "keepers" - all looked about a pound. It was slow - most of the rest of that club weighed 2-3 fish and 2-3 pounds. I don't know if they have a website. E_Bassfisher and I only caught 3 fish between us.

I had one on but it tail walked and came off...not another bite the rest of the afternoon.

My wife and I went to prefish Sunday afternoon at Lock 8.
Got there at 2 p.m. and fished until 5 p.m.
Caught one dink and had six bites....All on worms...Main River...
We need some rain....Bad....

You would need to do it on a fly rod, as they eat plankton

I am amazed they can keep those 4 huge whale sharks in an aquarium being krill eaters with all the other fish.
