P'ville Weigh In
« on: August 15, 2010, 09:28:52 AM »
Curious if the hosts for the tournament could go ahead and announce the weigh in times on the board prior to the tournament.  I know that we usually fish until 3 with the opportunity to extend or shorten.  Question is raised b/c I have a wedding in B'ham at 6 next tournament.  No way I can fish til 3 and make it.  Also, the Penn State game kicks off at 6 (FYI, not happy I will be at a wedding).   Not sure how that will affect the majority of the members.   I will either need to miss or make arrangements to give my fish to someone to weigh in.  shouldn't take up too much room in somebody's livewell of course.   ;D

Just want to go ahead and make arrangements if possible.  Thanks!

weigh in time is typically determined the morning of the tournament if it is to be any time other than 3 pm.

That tournament can only be shortened to 2:00 anyway. Right?

outside of july and august, the only reason we have ever knocked off early was if the ramp was gonna be ridiculously busy at weigh-in time. and yeah, it can only be shortened by 1 hour.

Tony and I are hosting and as of right now, unless we have some issues with weather, we will be fishing until 3pm. No tournament can be shortened even if we wanted to unless we had severe weather issues or another tournament to deal with. I'm sure arrangements can be made if you need to leave early.
