Not that I know of.  I think Ian brings his camera to each tournament though.

We should get someone to take pictures at each tournament and post them in a NBC photo gallery. I guess have an official photographer for Northport Bass Club.

After a hard day of fishing and with a staggered weigh-in, it is hard to remember.

I'll try to remember to bring my camera next month and take a few pictures cause I'm sure I won't have any fish to weigh in of my own. ;D

Shannon,

So you are driving the Camera Boat?
I think you should follow Bob and Ian around all day.
I would like to see videos, also.

Good fishing,
Ellis

That's right. I'm going to follow and learn how to fish a dropshot. ;D

The next tournament will be the one to learn the drop shot.

Ian, do you cast the drop shot or do you fish it vertical? I have seen it fished on TV both ways. I have only tried this rig one time and that was Demopolis last year in practice. Got one bite on it but missed it.

Holt is my #1 place to drop shot because I like fishing it vertically better than casting.  All the dams, humps, and other structure makes it a good place to do so.

Holt ain't my #1 place for anything. Me and Holt don't get along. I guess I need to learn how to drop shot so maybe I can catch a fish on Holt. ;D

both. but mostly out horizontal just like any other plastic. though i think the vertical bites are more fun cause they pull straight down and even a dink feels like a monster. cool thing with a dropshot fished horizontally is the versitilty of presentation: because you can keep it in one spot by having the weight somewhat stationary, you can create many varied presentations with the worm. best to me is to 'tighline' and shake the suspended worm subtly in one spot the move the rig, shake, repeat. another cool horizontal presentation is to (always keeping the weight on bottom) 'kill' the worm and gently pop it back up and down. fun stuff, but you'll snag up a lot

ALWAYS 8lb test pure flouro, 1/0 gammy split/dropshot hook, and 1/4 oz. round drop shot weight. sometimes, if it is REAL windy, i'll go to 5/16"; that is very seldom though. the lighter the weight the better the action.
