Fished out of Rock Quarry today....the boat landing is a lot better it now drops off nice (your feet no longer get wet after loading the boat)mine used to because the landing slowly tapered off but not any more..they also repainted the parking lot as well....fished for a couple hours the water was like coffee with milk(creamy looking)visibility was about 6" I did find some water that was 50-51 degrees managed a few bass mostly 14" inchers..had fun and the boat ran fine...may have to go back tomorrow depending on the weather..

Good to hear they've re-opened it already! Are the center parking lanes still straight?, or have thay slanted them? Hopefully they have slanted them!
Good deal on the fish, alh!
I like my coffee creamy,
I hope it pours cat and dogs the nite before the tournament and it's partly sunny and 64* the day of.

At this point I don't care what the water looks like as long as I get to fish, it's not raining, it's not 30 degrees and that I win!

"THE" reason I said that was for the hopes of
everyone
having a good chance of catching some really nice fish and being comfortable doing so.

Yeah water clarity is not really a big factor to me as well....even if I don't catch any fish I would like to see some from someone to remember what they look like..lol..May try to go Wed. or Thurs. of next week and venture off to Utah(Roebuck)if the river settles and play around at Brush Creek we use to catch them this time of year a mix of Largemouth and Hybrids at the mouth of the creek...although it may be easier and quicker to put in at Lock 8 and run there by water...it's also about time for some crappie in one of my holes at lock 8..the water warms up nice in the shallows...
