I've been a few times. Fished a tournament last weekend with my partner and we bombed. I have another one this Saturday. I hope to do better.

Nope. :( Work is taking all my free time. I finally got a weekend off this upcoming weekend. Sept. hasn't been kind to me on what little fishing i did get in.

I'm usually done by November if it gets too cold.Talking 30-40 temps by day, freezing at night.
Magic lures don't exist.

2011 count:

We've had a lot of rain which is killing the bite up here. I did manage 1 today (only went for about 2 hours) on a Coffee Tube. Nothing special, maybe a pound and a half.

My son has been bugging me to go again. We've been out 3 times in all, so I'm hoping to get out with him on Sunday if we can go in between rain drops.

I've gone a few times to Lock 8, before and after the flood, and only caught a few before....none after(the flood). Haven't been in a week or two tho.

Thank you Scott! We did better than I thought we would considering my friend's fishing abilities. (not being mean just honest) I went to his house and gave him some brief instuction on a few things and helped him pick out a few things that he wanted. So, to me, it paid off.

I managed to get out for a bit yesterday. Water is really high due to the fact that we have had over 5” of rain in the last week. I caught between 8 to 10 bass but it was some tough fishing. Good hard hits when you could find ‘em. Swim jigs and chatter baits were working but no top water, no bottom bouncing jigs, no spinner bait bites, and no plastics. Biggest went right at 3 pounds. I seem to be stuck on 3 pound fish. I have caught a lot larger from this lake in past years but can’t seem to find them anymore.
It was a pleasure to fish in the middle of the week. 4 boats on the water all morning. I did get rained on and it was in the low 50’s when I launched, but warmed to the low 70’s by the time I quit. Water temps were 66 to 68*.
We have had a lingering low over this area for the last two weeks and yesterday was the fist time in a week that the barometric pressure started back up. Don’t know if that is what made the bite so tough, but that’s my excuse and I’m stickin to it! ::)

Scott, I wish I'd had some of those three pound bass last Saturday. Three of them would have put us in first place  ;)
