Well, we had a large garage sale. Next we bought Rachel a car. Guess what is next?  She wants to change careers. OMG.  We are very grateful her health is returning even though she has to undergo one more year of Herceptin infusion treatments. About 4 months ago she started thinking she wasn't any too eager to start her private law practice back up. She has been doing volunteer work and speaking engagements at conventions, and even served on a National ethics board after her son died in 2002. She has decided she wanted to work with families going through the organ donor process. She began applying for different positions about 60 days ago. Well, Tennesee Donor Services hired her after a very intensive interview regimen.
Tomorrow we go to Nashville and she will start her job on the 10th. I will return to Kansas after about a week and get my house on the market. We are very excited. It will be difficult to live in the city after I have been out for the last 10 years. Hopefully we won't have to reside in the city too long.

Sounds like your going to be busy for a while Steve. I know the adjustment from where you are to where your going is dramatic but it will all work out. I moved from the Dallas area to here and I learned the meaning of “Culture Shock”.
Nashville has some great entertainment venues and I am willing to bet you can find some good fishing holes nearby. What else could a man want?

PS Let us know when you get your new house and I will send you a box of “Kentucky Rocks” as a house warming gift. ;D

That's great news Get! A couple of lakes I know of in Nashville area are Percy Priest and Old Hickory. And there is a Bass Pro Shop in town too!

Steve, I hope your move goes well, and your wifes health continues to improve.

Btw, You've also got a bunch of Cumberland River to figger out too!

Just think, Guntersville, all of North Alabama(pickwick, etc. ), the TN, the Tenn-Tom and the Warrior rivers, is just down the street. Well, you might as well hit the coosa and the talapoosa chains too while your at it.  ;D

That sounds like a plan Steve.  I hope all goes well for you all.  BTW:  How far will you be from Dale Hollow and those really big winter smallies?

Thanks for all the good wishes guys. We pulled in to Nashville right at rush hour.  ::)  Not good planning on my part. The car drove out wonderfully without any trouble . Tomorrow we'll do some house hunting. I'm kinda freaked by this metromess. The wife says she is willing to commute 45minutes. Not sure that's gonna get out too far, we'll see.

Buzz, I'm pumped with all the good fishing opportunities. Can't wait to get back with myboat.
Now as long as she doesn't kick me to the curb.   ;D

Jig Man , I'm hoping to hook up for a day with you when I'm on my way back with the boat if you want. I hope my house sells quickly.
