Bigfoot and I went to Stockton on Tuesday looking for specs. We hadn't been in quite a while and things have changed. The water surface temp is down to 40° and a cold front had passed through with some snow early.
Our main place didn't give up a bite. Our second place gave up a few crappie and walleye. We moved north and fished half way down the lake hitting channel swings and bluff ends. We only caught 2 black bass, 1 crappie and 1 walleye on that trip.
We returned to the only place that had given fish early and caught a few more crappie and walleye. We wound up catching 2 blacks, 2 whites, 10 walleye and 15 crappie. That wasn't what we had hoped for but at least it wasn't a skunk and we brought home some skillet stinkers.

We are now supposed to have 2 weeks of going nowhere with lows in the singles and highs in the 20s.
