52" Sturgeon

Went Sturgeon fishing a few days ago,, caught several with the 52" being my biggest.

That is a good fish but I guess for a sturgeon it is probably a baby isn't it?

Nice Catch, Eric! I would almost bet that that one pulled you around like tow truck! Looks awefully big to me!

That thing hanging below the fish, is the fish's mouth,,, it droops down, almost like a sucker's mouth.

is that the biggest one you've ever caught?  What river is that?  Sometimes people catch those out of the mississippi and missouri rivers.

That is actually the ever first time I ever been Sturgeon fishing,,, and that is the biggest one of three I caught that day,,,,
We caught it in the Winnipeg River,,,, in Manitoba.

thats a really big fish, can't say that I've ever even been in waters
that contained sturgeon. Can you eat that type? I'm just a litle ole
lady and if I ever hooked something like that, well, I think I'd have
to take a club to it before it knocked me out. Congrats on your catch.

My grandfather used to ice fish for them back in the day.My mom tells me storys of how he once stood one up next to my mom and it was bigger than her. :o

I wish i met my grandfather before he passed away.It's the one person that i wish i got to meet in my family.
