5/25, CT Rivermouth
« on: May 25, 2008, 08:25:14 AM »
Hit the lower CT River for a few hours from about 5:30 until 8.  Weather was clear, cool and breezy.   I drifted the shoreline flats near the mouth of the river.  Most of the action was bluefish today,...I ended up with 5 blues and one striper that was just short of a keeper.  All in all a great day to be out on the water!!  Here's the best ones of the day! :D

Nice Blues, those things put up a heck of a fight, they were in the fresh as well or are you venturing towards brackish/salt?

Very nice.

I wish I was closer to the ocean so I could fish the brackish waters.
