A Nice mess by accident
« on: April 09, 2011, 09:23:19 PM »
I went down to Wichita to stay for a few days to be with my mother during a surgery she was scheduled for. Her sister who lives in  Springfield but doesn't drive was also there. Something went haywire so the procedure was postponed and I ended up taking my aunt back to Springfield on Friday. As it ended up I was fortunate enough to meet a friend down there and I wound up in cricket creek on Saturday morning and  I'm back home tonight with a nice mess of specs. It sure was therapeutic.
It was a good accident.  ;D

If you had let me know you were close we could have poured up some stingers for you and old Stevie.

Yes, I would have liked that. I shoulda called. I was sorta uneasy about it since it was such short notice and unexpected. I would like to see that done someday...... raincheck ?

If you can let me know, I'll get setup and show you some of the things I do like senkos, craws, tubes, stingers, do-nothin's.

OK, will do. If they reschedule that surgery for my mother maybe if I come down and pick up my aunt I could drop by then. I'll keep it in mind.
Thanks

GETFISHED,

I may be butting my nose in this thread and, maybe, I shouldn't, but I couldn't help it: I hope all is okay with your mother? From what I read, it doesn't sound too serious, but, again, I hope things turn out for the best for your mom and your family.

Thank you Jigfishn10. Her spine has finally wore out . I think she will get some relief before too long. It's hard on her to be down. She does more before lunch than I want to do all week. LOL ! She's a go getter and just bein sidelined for a while is just about as difficult for her as the actual pain. Thanks for your thoughts.

Ahh, gotch ya.

My dad had his back done 2 years ago. He's 72 or 73, I can't remeber, he's had so many birthdays I lost count...LOL...The recovery time was longer than he anticipated, but the pain isn't nearly as bad as it was. He's back doing his thing and enjoying life again.

Hope all turns out well for your mother.
