Birmingham boat show
« on: January 31, 2009, 09:50:36 PM »
Some really good deals up there right now.

Marks Outdoors had many different kinds of soft plastics for $1.00 a bag. (Zoom, Netbait, and a few others)

Jackalls were buy 2 get one free, so I brought home 3 :)  One squirrel 76SP in a color that only they had, (1) Squadminnow 95, and another Squadminnow 115.  (They didnt have any Mask there and thats what I went to get)

I also got a Shimano Crucial for $82.00 that Basspro sells for $159.00

Saw a $99,000 Ranger Bass Boat today too.  Lots of it was made from Kevlar.
Not sure who would but a $99k bass boat though.

Today at the boat show the Rangers impressed me the most of all others (and I am not talking about the $99,000 one).

Other than that I think the Champ 202 Elite was my other favorite.

I would have to say that the rangers yes were the most inpressing.  I am not sure how great it would be and i think nitro made it but with the two consoles together in the middle of the boat is very neat!   :o

I met Scott Canterbury also.   Didnt realize who he was when I was talking to him, until I heard them announce his name over the loudspeaker that he was signing autographs, lol.

Seemed like a super nice guy and helped me a lot with the Jackall baits.

He was the FLW Rookie of the year last year.
