I spoke with a fellow i know last night at the store. He and his boys(young men) crappie fish all the time. He told me that this has been the worst year they've ever had for crappie.

This might very well be why i have had such a time trying to catch them this year myself!

I don't know about crappie but man, I have been catching bass pretty good this year. ;)
